Table Reading Questions

1. I think that the novel  Fahrenheit 451 begins with this

THE PEDESTRIAN

The theme of  " The Pedestrian " is that it was about how reality is. He uses the message by stating facts that are in modern time. The tone of the story is mean and jerk. People don't walk in 2018 because technology is taking over. For example, people are just on there phone almost every single min. They can't leave it for a few minutes. It's an addiction. They also don't walk in 2018 because people now a days are so lazy to even go to the restroom, they prefer to go to a store near by with a car instead of walking. I think that self driving cars are pretty cool because all you have to do is not control. It's cool how they work and how it will listen. I think technology is leading to more of independent and isolation because we don't communicate so much with others, we don't meet people and communicate. All we do is be messaging and on social media to communicate.

INSIDE OUT

Prufrock and Gatsby are different on the inside because Gatsby was desperate for Daisy's love and and Prufrock he just wanted love because he felt lonely but wasn't as desperate as Gastby.  Yes I do see this in real life. Yes I do know people that someotimes appear one way and feel another way and I'm not going to lie that's me too. I feel like people who feel this way are confuse. They just just think it's the right way.

WHAT I SEE IN LITERATURE

The themes of Gastby and Prufrock is that they both want to be loved. They feel like the need to feel the love of someone. Gatsby he did whatever it took to get Daisy because he loved her so much that he even died. Prufrock he felt lonely and and wanted love

Of course I am not going to be doing surgery on people but I will be helping out with other things that could be very helpful. I can't wait to start working. I am going to start next week!!

The Great Gatsby Essay

In the Great Gatsby it represented the American dream which was love mainly and poverty. when jay would throw parties and invite almost anyone it relates to modern time because now in days their are many people who like to gamble. They waste money on unnecessary things. For example, a Gucci belt. When Daisy and Gatsby met Gatsby wasn't a wealthy man but Daisy was. They both fell in love and Daisy wanted a wealthy man. Gatsby worked hard to get wealthy but daisy didn't even bother to wait for him. Daisy was one who loved money. This relates to modern time because many people want to get rich and do what famous people do. Some famous people were born wealthy already just like Daisy. Now in days in a relationship money is what people pay attention to instead of how peoples personality really is. Gatsby had faith that Daisy still loves him. The valley of ashes represented all the bad things that have to deal with wealth. All Gatsby wanted was to find happiness with Daisy and take h

CAN WE WATCH THE MOVIE?

I think that in order to understand a book is by the persons way of understanding. People learn and understand something in a different way. From my opinion I think that people like to watch or think of it as a way of understanding the book better by watching the movie instead of reading because in the movie you are actually watching them act it out and seeing what they are doing. In a book you have to use your mind to make a picture and try to understand what you are reading. Also in a movie they use big words but you can understand it. In a book it's harder to understand bigger vocabulary because you have to use your own context clues and your own ways to find what it means.
