When reading this book I noticed that it is related to modern time. I noticed that technology is taking over human society. In this present day we just use our phone and us people are addicted to it, we also just sit down and we prefer to watch the giant " polar walls"and not come out of the house. We in modern time don't even socialize a lot. Our conversation are no fun, its mainly about apps,cars etc. We don't see what is going on in the world. The only time we know something is happening to the world is when we see it on social media and it is trending.We don't go out and have fun and see the good and enjoy life. Knowledge is not even needed today because of technology. We don't memorize things because computers do it for us. When we want to look for a definition we don't use a dictionary book or use context clues from the book we just use google to search it up.  People want more technology, for example faster internet. On Sat 4/26 we had prelims. I do long distance so coach wanted long distance to do 3 events. I did the 1 mile , 800 meters, 2 miles and I won all my races and qualified for the mile and 800. I won my 3 mile race but it’s not going to be in finals as a event for jv. It was a long day but worth it even though I died in the 2 mile. Thursday 1/3 we have finals.

So I am currently working as a intern at the hospital. I am on the 2nd floor where the surgery occurrs. I’ve been learning a lot. Yesterday 4/10/18 I saw an actual surgery happening. I wasn’t scared or nervous by seeing real organs of human beings. I help the surgeons/nurses to help move the patients to a “recovery bed” and they them to recovery room since that patient just finished having surgery. I also help clean out the Operating rooms for the next case. I get to see the surgeons schedule for the next day. I get to touch many equipments and get to go to places where volunteers can’t go. I also get to bring a patient and take them to get ready for surgery. I really love working there. My co workers are so nice and funny. Most surgeons are funny.
